This afternoon I received an email by Pinterest Community Marketing Manager UK, Zoe Pearson, letting me know that I was named 'The 10 most influential Pinterest users in the UK' by UK.Businessinsider.com. I was absolutely speechless and surprise! To say the least, I did not see this one coming.
When I joined Pinterest it was purely personal and a way of allowing myself to make sense of my thoughts visually and to build on my inspirations, in a sense of research, design and style. Obviously as time went on I found other subjects of interests, which all interacts indirectly in its respectful manner. Any creative person will tell you that it is important to keep an open mind and allowing outside influences to inspire and most importantly forming your own opinion. Pinterest was a great way for me to organise (if you like) the creative chaos that sometime stirs around in my mind.
It gives me a great sense of pleasure that people are inspired by photos or images (most that I do not even own). I am happy to be apart of that process where people from all different backgrounds can come together and create newness. Thanks once again to Joshua Barrie, Business Insider UK and last but not least, Pinterest for such a great platform for us to bounce ideas across world wide.
Here are some of my favourite inspirational photos below
